Classical 4 Columns Brass And mahogany Beautiful Pair of Table Lamps.
The 4 brass columns in the Dorique style fitted with 4 brass finials and patinated ornament frieze on the brass base.
In the centre a mahogany column and with a mahogany round base.
In beautiful original condition the brass has been lacquered so polishing is not needed and the electrical has been checked and renewed in old style fabric cable.

Rare Dutch Pewter And bronze “Kraantjeskan” (Samovar / Coffee / Tea Urn) Circa 1750.
This is the nicest type of pewter/bronze Dutch coffee urn, a beautiful model and this type is very rare to find also with the early type of pewter handles.
Still in very good old used condition even the bronze legs have the original pewter connection to the body and with the original lid.
Marked with the Dutch quality mark of the Crowned Rose.

Magnificent Rare French Mahogany Regulator Circa 1850-70
Interesting is the temperature compensated pendulum invented by British clock maker John Ellicott 1752, known is that this invention is used in French clocks in the 1800s, written in a French Physics book from 1878.
The dial signed with the name: Bousquet A Beziers ( a large clock makers family) the movement made and signed by: Pierre Lemasson Paris
The moment has been serviced and strikes every 30 minutes on a gong.
In fully working order, still with the original enamel dial with the original gilded bevel surround , blued hands and original gilded pendulum.
The very clean mahogany case is made by a top Ebenist/furniture maker.
Overall in very good old original used condition, there are no missing pieces.

Interesting Small Very Elegant French Louis Quinze Pendule / Mantel Clock, Circa 1750
The original enamel dial is signed Romilly A Paris = Jean Romilly born in Genéve 1714 he died in Paris 1796.
He became master in Paris in 1752, it is known that he worked with clock cases made by St. Germain.
The clock is still with its original gilded bronze case, original enamel dial and original fretwork gilded bronze hands.
Overall in very good old used condition, the clock is in working order.

The gilded bronze case signed St. Germain = Joseph de Saint Germain master in 1746.
The original dial and movement signed Stollewerck a Paris = Michel Stollewerck was master in 1750.
The brass back plate of the movement hand engraved with the name of the clock maker “Stollewerck a Paris”
A identical pendule is in the collection of the Louvre Museum in Paris

Stamped for Junghans, very interesting is to see the original paper label on the inside of the door, of the Dutch association of clock makers/sellers, about the quality of the Junghans clocks, and recommended as quality clocks.

A Magnificent Typical Dutch School Jan Kriege Hammered Copper table lamp c.1920/25
Signed with the master stamp of Jan Kriege.
This is the fourth large copper object known by us by Jan Kriege.
The shade hammered out of one sheet of copper and also the complete base hammered out of one sheet of copper .
The other three objects, two of them are in Museums and the third one, a hanging light is also in our own collection. One large vase 100cm high is in the town Museum in Woerden the birth place of Jan Kriege The Netherlands (where there is also a street named after him)
the other vase 80cm high is in the collection of museum Boymans van Beuningen in Rotterdam.
Already in his working time the town Museum in Amsterdam (Stedelijk Museum) was interested in his work and Jan Kriege became a respected craftsman who was also known outside The Netherlands.
A large part of his work was completely destroyed in 1940 by an airraid.
Our table lamp is complete and in fully original condition, the fabric has been renewed.
Jan Kriege 1884-1944 was a sculptor silversmith/goldsmith and jewellery designer, with a speciality in hand hammered copper objects.
In wonderful original condition with beautiful old patination, no cracks no dents no repairs.

An Exceptional And Beautiful Inlaid Tortoiseshell Plaque.
Extremely fine inlaid with engraved mother of pearl grapes, the young Bacchus, flower vases, wine tazza and wine jug, the branches from grapes inlaid with gold color thread.
This very rare plaque could be the work of Jean Bellekin, 1597/98-1636 (possible the father of Cornelis Bellekin)
It is known that Jean Bellikin engraved in mother of pearl in a very high standard, it is possible that he has used the engraving of Bacchus by Jacob Matham from Haarlem 1571-1631 as inspiration.
Jacob Matham was the steph son of Hendrik Goltzius.
Striking is to see the engraving similarities of the objects and our plaque.

Of “2 N D Maatjes
Marked with the annual calibration marks for 1846 and 1847 and the mark of gauge master G. Kuyper master in 14 March 1820 in Groningen, died in 1860.

It is an original gilded bronze travelling table, because you can easily unscrew all four legs and they are numbered from 1 till 4.

interior designs and carved oak stair cases for houses in Amsterdam and many of them
after designs of: Daniel Marot.
Even more interesting is, to compare our bench
with the famous, large Dutch Delft blue
and white tiles, made for: Hampton Court,
( now in the collection of the Victoria and Albert Museum.)
These tiles have exactly the same panel and subject with the playing children as on our bench.
We have never seen this subject somewhere else,
so it might be possible that there is a connection
between our hall bench and the blue and white tiles made for Hampton Court.

A complete set of eight Chinese ceremonial poles/halberds, still standing on their original beautiful carved hardwood stand.
finely carved with dragons standing on dogs of Foo.
The two dragons are connected with bended hardwood simulated bamboo, beautiful carved whole over.
Overall in fantastic condition, no missing pieces or other damages and still with the original old patination, also the bronze ornaments on top.
The poles/halberds have their original finely carved hard wood handles and on top of that the heavy cast solid bronze mounts.
With the eight symbols of the Daoist Emblems.
Important is that the Chinese always have eight symbols and you can find them back in this rack.
The bronze and the hardwood stand still have the old beautiful original patination.

This historical important alm dish is engraved with the text: For The Waster Gray Frieirs Kirk 1722, indistinctly stamped for the Pewterer Thomas Inglis Edinburgh 1686-1732
This dish is made for the opening of the new part of the church which opened in 1722.
A similar dish is in the collection of the National Museum of Scotland and stamped for John Shorey II London 1708-1732 and a third dish is in the collection of the Stirling Smith Art Gallery and Museum, in the Neish collection and has no Pewterer stamps.

A Magnificent Typical Dutch School Jan Kriege Hammered Copper Hanging Light c.1925

Signed with the master stamp of Jan Kriege.
This is the third large copper object known by us by Jan Kriege, hammered out of one sheet of copper, the other two objects are in Museums, one large vase 100cm high in the town Museum in Woerden the birth place of Jan Kriege The Netherlands (where there is also a street named after him)
the other vase 80cm high is in the collection of museum Boymans van Beuningen in Rotterdam.
Already in his working time the town Museum in Amsterdam ( Stedelijk Museum) was interested in his work and Jan Kriege became a respected craftsmen who was also known outside The Netherlands.

A large part of his work was completely destroyed in 1940 by a airraid.

The shade of our lamp is also hammered out of 1 sheet of copper, our lamp is complete and in fully original condition, even the fabric has the lead small weights to stretch the fabric downwards.
The part against the ceiling has place for 4 fittings.

Jan Kriege 1884-1944 was a sculpture silversmith/goldsmith and jewel designer, wit a speciality in hand hammered copper objects

The wooden case veneered with one of the first type of simulated tortoiseshell and ivory celluloid, it is not possible to see the difference between real tortoiseshell and our clock.
It is very rare to find this type of clock still with the original glass dome and stand of the same make.
The movement is completely cleaned and has the brocot escapement with jewelled pallets, seconds hand and is in fully working order, still with the original pendulum, striking on a bell every 30 minutes, both the dials are enamel.

A magnificent and historical very important Royal wedding casket, given by the town Oberammergau to crown Prince: Maximillian II of Bayern on the occasion of his wedding in 1842
with princess Marie Fredericke von Preussen, who became King and Queen of Bayern six years later.The casket is carved by: Georg Zwink, signed and dated:1842, made of carved walnut with the following text on a grape vine: “ Ammergaus Liebe und Ehrfurcht im Jahr: 1842”
( Ammergaus love and respect in the year: 1842)

The casted is carved with scenes of: Castle Hohen Swangau, home of Maximillian II and Castle Fishbach, home of Princess Marie von Preussen. Also carved with the Coat of Arms of Maximillian II and the Coat of Arms of Bayern.

and a textile string in the blue and white colours of Bayern.

Beautiful decorated with more then 5000 different natural sea shells and red coral.
All over in very good original used condition with nice old patination, and still with the original ormolu mounts.
The movement signed: Cailly ainé. Cailly was working in Saint-Nicolas d’Aliermont (near Dieppe) in circa 1830.
Interesting is to see the scratched text in both of the clock springs, “ Septembre 1828”
serviced in Toulouse by Enaly A Toulouse le 31 Mai 1870. (note on back of the dial)
The movement is fully cleaned and in working order, striking every 30 minutes on a bell.
It is very rare to find a clock of this type and period in the Italian Grotto style.
Another interesting point by this clock is, that the clock is also fully finished on the back, so when the clock was placed before a mirror on the wall or free standing in a room you can enjoy the clock on both sides.

Jugandstil / Art deco Very Stylish Table Lamp Possibly North American. Made from metal, still with the original chocolade colour patination.
Mounted with fabric and with the unusual original turn switch on top of the shade, also with the original bulb fittings.
In very good original used condition, the electric parts have been controlled and the lamp is rewired with old style fabric cable.
